Tutoring: Tuesday afternoon and Friday morning
Assessments: Test is early next week. common assessment is midweek, you do not study for the Common Assessment
Monday
Today, you receive your quiz back from Friday ( 2nd only) and 4th block will take the quiz missed on Friday due to the weather. Then, you will work on a task, Are You Normal?, an exploration of Empirical Rule, standard deviation, mean and z scores. I will allow the task to be a partner activity, with some teacher assistance as needed.

Tuesday and Wednesday
Today, we learn how to calculate a z score and finish the Normal task. Also, you will take the common assessment ( you do not study for this test). Also, you will compare data sets graphically, by a table and by a description.

Thursday
Today, you work on a Skittles task related to the Central Limit Theorem. Again, I will use the student focused approach.

Today, the class studies margin of error and confidence intervals. I will give the formulas for the calculation and allow time for analysis too.
