Tutoring: Course Extension all week in the afternoon, yet you can see me for some early morning tutoring ( 7:30 to 7:55) if needed. Please let me know if you plan to attend morning tutoring, so I arrive to the classroom early.

PreCalculus- week of 1.29.2018-02.02.2018

Tutoring: I have course extension all week, so I can run some early morning sessions as needed, yet you will need to make an appt so I know to come to school earlier ( 7:30 to 7:55) . I have duty at 7:55 AM.

Assessments: Unit test on Tuesday

This week in PreCalculus
We review on Monday for the test on Tuesday and most likely part two of the test is Wednesday.
We move on to conics on Thursday ( circles Thursday  and then ellipses on Friday).

Well, we had school one day this  past week, so I will revise this entry and make the entry for two weeks!

The week of 01.16,
Tuesday, 1.16, the class worked on finishing up the Penguin/ Igloo activity, focused on simplifying expressions
Wednesday to Friday, no school

This week 01.22.2018-01.26.2018, , we explore the expressions by looking at:
Common vocab for algebraic expressions
verbal to algebraic expressions ( lots of practice in class on this standard)
 The distributive property

CRM- week of 01.08.2018-01.12.2018

Tutoring: Wednesday afternoon and Friday morning

This week, I will try a new blog format with a summary of the week vs. day to day.

This week, the class will enjoy a snow day on Monday and then lessons the rest of the 4 day week.
 We study the road runner problem, Felicia's task, speed Gonzalez problem ( all related to prep for Felicia's task). Also, we look at simplifying expressions and review the mascot pushup numbers.

I will try a new format this week on the blog to give an overview of the week vs. day by day.

This week, we will have 4 days of instruction, with a snow day on Monday. The topics of study will be scalar multiplication, multiply matrices with Ice Cream Task, equal matrices, combo of add, subtract, scalar and equal matrices.

 The 4th block class will have an SLO on Tuesday, 4th block. You do not study at all for this assessment.
