It is the day to ensure you are in the correct math class, I will look at all transcripts very carefully. You will make a personality poster.
Tuesday
Yes, first day of August and 2nd day of school. We are focused on one of my favorite units, the matrices unit. You will review how to add and subtract matrices and run scalar multiplication.
Wednesday
Matrices is the topic of the day! we look at equal matrices and a combo of the operations ( add, subtract, equal and scalar)
Thursday
Matrices exploratory today with a discovery of how to multiply matrices. I will challenge you today.
Friday
It is Friday, yes! One week is done. We look at multiplying matrices again today.

Welcome back to the school year! We are focused on making sure you have your math credits for graduation. I will look at your transcript very carefully for all the math credits needed. You will showcase your personality with pictures and words.

We will do some more class familiarization activities, as I love to get to know the students in my class. We will do some intro to expressions with a video.
Wednesday
It is Felicia's Drive and Speedy Gonzalez problems today, a look at expressions related to speed and distance.
Thursday
Expressions are the continued focus of the class in this unit, a look at math magic tricks and simplifying expressions with a penguin activity
Friday
Expressions are the topic of the day with a focus on the matching of the words to the operations.

Welcome to PreCalculus Fall semester 2017-2018
Hello all!
Welcome to PreCalculus, a course including exciting topics such as conics, matrices, trig functions, trig laws, vectors and some statistics. All of you have qualified to be in the course ( A or B in Algebra 2) and you will need to stay focused in class. The pacing is swift at times, yet I will explain all topics in detail, just listen to the notes and ask questions. If needed, tutoring will be available to assist you. I am here to help you have success in math! We will have a fantastic semester!

Welcome to College Readiness Math Fall Semester 2017-2018
Welcome to College Readiness Mathematics, a course designed to review Algebra one and Algebra two topics, plus some applications too. I think you will enjoy the pacing of the course and the activities.
