GPS Advanced Algebra 10/27-10/31/2014

Monday
Today, we review how to find the inverse of an exponential function, and transformations of exponentials( including the "e" function. I will add some exploratory into the transformations, you should make the connections quickly from the polynomial exploratory.

Tuesday
Today, we look at characteristics of exponential functions with discovery within the notes. Characteristics include domain, range, intervals of increase and decrease, intercepts, extrema, asymptotes and growth/ decay.

Wednesday
We are ready for the review of the unit, likely set up in stations around the room. I will assist each student as needed, you shall come ready to work hard today.

We go real world today with notes on interest. I will use two formulas for interest in class today and you will work on a real world car project next week to show your knowledge of interest.
