This week, we kick off the first trig unit, intro to trig. You will see a review of right triangle trig, solving a triangle for all angles and sides and  a quiz on trig values. One of the hardest parts of the unit is selecting the correct trig function to use. I will give suggestions in class on this item.

This week, we continue studying linear equations, with distributive property and cross multiplying.
Focus on the infinite and no solution equations will be included too.
Practice includes whiteboard checks, CTLS checks, equation sort and  quiz preview.
Students will receive the first linear equations quiz back on Monday, 02.26.2018.

This week, we will start the equations unit with increasing difficulty each day. I will  run a little check on Monday to see the equation solving abilities of each student and adjust instruction accordingly.

I am out Tuesday due to a graduation meeting, so I will have the class do some work on equations.
