Tutoring: Tuesday afternoon and Friday morning. Feel free to see me if you need another time.
Assessments: Quiz likely on Thursday or Friday and some unit 2 test corrections in class on Monday. If you are absent Monday, see me for ways to gain some points on the test grade.
Monday
Today, we start off with a reflection on the break. I will share my week in Florida. Next, the unit 3 test are graded, yet I see room for corrections, especially on the composition of functions. You will have an opportunity to make up some points. Also., you will tour the hallway to find roots of given polynomials.

Tuesday
Today, you will find all roots of a given polynomial, given no roots. The class will explore the Rational Root Theorem ( p and q). You will run synthetic division to find the first root. Also, you will find other roots of a 4th degree polynomial.

Today, we determine a root and a factor. Also, you write the equation of a polynomial from the roots and complete the circle problem.

Assessments: Unit 2 test is Thursday and Friday ( a 2 day test due to missed class time on Wednesday and Friday)
Grades are due Monday, 9/14, so I need all work by Friday afternoon.

Holiday, hope you enjoyed the day off. I personally got lots of rest today!!
Tuesday
Today, you will practice binomial expansion with 3 sheets of practice problems with varying difficulty levels. I will assist you in finding the appropriate level for your partner and you. Also, notes are given on inverse of a function and composition of functions. Yes, you will get your quiz back today. I will do my best to enter the grades into Synergy tonight.

We wrap up the notes of Tuesday and begin on the unit test review sheet. First block is mainly missed due to a junior class meeting and 2nd block, seniors miss part of class due to the senior meeting. Fourth block will the full time, extra time to master the material.
